Improving the lives of everyday folks that live here in northern WI has always been my priority."

Romaine Robert Quinn was born and raised right here in the 25th senate district. He attended St. Joseph Catholic School in Rice Lake and graduated from Rice Lake High School. During his senior year in High School, Quinn ran and was elected to the Rice Lake City Council. After serving for a year on council, he was elected Mayor of Rice Lake at just 19 years old.
Romaine graduated from Rice Lake High School and immediately began pursuing his passion.
Romaine is a proud alum of UW - Eau Claire - Barron County, where he took classes while serving out his term as Mayor. After two years, Romaine attended UW-Eau Claire, but ultimately obtained his bachelor's degree in Political Science and Public Leadership from UW-Green Bay. As soon as Romaine graduated in May of 2014, he jumped back into public service and launched his bid for the 75th assembly district.

While working full time as a sales representative for Viking Coca Cola in Rice Lake, Quinn campaigned for assembly until dark every evening after work, plus weekends. While knocking on hundreds of doors, Romaine was able to share his common-sense, conservative message to area voters. Although an underdog in the race, Quinn won in November of 2014 by a 55%-45% margin. In November of 2016, Romaine was outspent, yet won re-election by an even wider margin – 61%-39%. And during his last election in 2018, Quinn garnered 62% of the vote. Quinn has always attributed his success to hard work, and simply being honest with voters back home.
Although Romaine has accomplished much in his short 31 years, he considers marrying “the farmer’s daughter” his biggest accomplishment yet. Once expecting their first child, Romaine choose not to run for re-election to the state assembly in order to spend more time at home, where he currently has a successful career in real estate. He and his wife Racquel, along with their newborn son, currently live just outside of Cameron, and look forward to raising their growing family right in the heart of the 25th Senate Seat.

"Expecting my first child was the reason I chose not to run for re-election to the state assembly. However, having my first child is exactly the reason I am now running for state senate.
Our kids and grandkids deserve to grow up in the same Wisconsin we all have. I want families to be able to work and put money away for the future. Schools that focus on teaching our kids the basics while giving them every opportunity to succeed. Communities that are safe and where law enforcement is respected. And a state government that lives within its means, is accountable to the people, and upholds our individual freedoms.
It is time once again that Madison knows who we are here in northern Wisconsin. With your support, we can make that happen."
